I am not being a saint, but I am becoming aware of the Satan (Devil) inside me….
A common perception of life is that it’s a never-ending loop of difficulties that arise until we’ve absorbed the pertinent lesson. Whenever we are facing difficulties or unforeseen circumstances we tend to question universe and the creation of almighty for our troubles, but when we understand the reasoning of the recurrence we realise that it was not a punishment but a guiding way. Its almost similar to how we as students went across our study material again and again until we understood the concept or grasped it.
In the same way our souls come across repeated experiences in order to improve and develop us. Any adversity that presents a chance of increased comprehension, brings us one step closer to the wisdom we seek. I believe that the secret is to identify, learn from them, and move on. Further I can say that the soul travels through life in cycles in search of knowledge, healing, and ultimately enlightenment. Some astrologers say that we have 4 main elements Fire, Earth, Water and Air and so are the cycles, we need to learn the existence and importance of each element in one cycle and the more towards the next till we reach ‘moksha’.
In the infinite wisdom of universe , I believe that the cosmos arranges these recurring events to point us in the direction of the lessons we must learn. And these teachings are not arbitrary; rather, they have a deep bearing on the development of our mind and spirit.
Q.1 Is Repetition a Universal Design ? We all have been frustrated by continuously running into the same kind of issues in life, like relationship patterns, professional setbacks, or personal routines, all these appear to repeat themselves in a remarkably predictable way. Till the time we realise that this repetition serves as a potent growth tool, we are at wander state of mind where we develop negative thoughts. These obstacles are persistently presented to us by the cosmos until we are able to completely understand the lesson it contains.
A spiral can be used to illustrate how circular life is. Even while we may think you’ve returned from where we were as we advance through each cycle, we’re actually further up the spiral. Every familiar challenge presents a chance to tackle it with more knowledge and insight than previously. “You didn’t quite get it last time, so let’s try again, but this time with more insight,” seems to be what the universe is saying.
Once we do, the cycle changes and we are able to access new realms of awareness and experiences.
Q 2 Do we actually get Growth through Understanding?
Life teaches each one of us based on our spiritual development and our soul needs. The core themes like love, forgiveness, self-worth, patience, and compassion are frequently at the centre. For example, if someone frequently finds oneself in circumstances where they feel unappreciated, it’s not a coincidence; rather, it is a call to develop self-love and acknowledge one’s intrinsic value or self-worth. In a similar vein, someone who is harbouring animosity could constantly run into circumstances that test their ability to forgive.
I feel that this journey of a soul’s evolution is the “Purpose of life”.
Q 3 Is the path all about Awareness, Acceptance & Transformation?
I feel that being aware is the first step towards escaping the repeating cycles of life, since we are aware that the lessons life presents are customised to meet our unique needs and advance our spiritually. Without awareness, we are prone to keep responding to events in the same way, which will probably result in the same results.
Thus, we can develop awareness by engaging in mindfulness exercises like journaling, meditation, or just pausing to think. We just need to take a step back and examine our life with objectivity, it will make us see the patterns that keep coming up and the underlying anxieties or beliefs that may be causing them. After recognising these patterns, we can start making conscious actions/decisions to select alternative reactions, which will end the cycle.
I am not being a saint, but I am becoming aware of the Satan (Devil) inside me….
Accepting that we are right where we should be, dealing with right challenges, is one of the most difficult aspects of the soul’s learning cycle. It’s normal to not want to be in unpleasant or uncomfortable circumstances and to just go away or reject them.
Acceptance is not the same as giving up or accepting a circumstance as it is. Instead, it’s about accepting the present as true and realising that it exists for a purpose. We can more readily focus on the lesson our circumstances are trying to teach us when we accept the way they are. With this change in viewpoint, difficulties become chances for development rather than roadblocks. Moving forward requires acceptance.
The journey of the soul is an ongoing process of refinement and transformation. With each cycle we complete, we move closer to our true essence, shedding layers of fear, ignorance, and ego, and revealing the pure light of our soul.
The journey of the soul ultimately aims to bring us back to our true selves as limitless loving, wise, and light beings. In the process of changing our lives and consciousness, every cycle and lesson moves us one step closer to this realisation.
Accept the journey, have faith in the process, and remember that each obstacle presents an opportunity for significant personal development and transformation.
