(Rumi is one of my Inspirations)
When ever I read something it always intrigued me to write, but I never understood that what impact it creates till I actually started writing and sharing. Writing for me is a deep trip inside me, as it captures the subtle mix of feelings, encounters, and insights that I have come across with time. As a writer I explore a wide range of issues that speak about my own life and the lives that I witness, as I often dig into their deepest thoughts and the world around them. This procedure has many a times caused conflicting emotions, a complex fusion of happiness, grief, inquisitiveness, and reflection. It’s a journey that is both professional and personal, where writing serves as a window to the outside world and a mirror to inner selves.
In poetic terms, Rumi, a turkish poet from the 13th century, said, “The wound is the place where the Light enters you.” These injuries, these exposed moments, serve as a catalyst for exploration and articulation of our deepest feelings. When I am putting these feelings on paper, I am not only helping readers understand my feelings about a topic but also to establish a relationship with them that goes beyond distance and time.
Apart from my innermost feelings, the discussions and happenings in my environment greatly influence the way I write. The world is full of stories that cry out to be told, and it is a never-ending source of inspiration. These outside factors affect my topic selection, whether it’s a small chat overheard in a coffee shop or more general societal issues generating from the chaos around.
“Raise your words, not your voice, as Rumi famously remarked. Rain, not thunder, is what grows flowers.” This quotation serves as a helpful reminder that even the most decisive topics may be handled with grace and kindness when written about with thoughtfulness and reflection. So, when I am interacting with the environment around, I am able to turn my observations into narratives that inspire empathy and provide understanding to a broader audience.
I believe that writing and sharing have the capacity to have a profound effect on society and on a personal level. I have craved inside my soul to share my ideologies, my introspections & experiences . As I write and share I am letting readers see things from my perspective and making them wear my shoes, this act of sharing promotes empathy and connection as it builds a bridge between people and their self exploration, that has been created by time, culture, and geography. “Let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love,” as Rumi sagely advised. You won’t err by using it.” This quotation emphasises the authenticity that results from expressing one’s own interests and perceptions. I want to write in such a manner that it has a intense effect on other people, inspiring and igniting change through my thoughts & words.
The transformational power of words is aptly encapsulated by Rumi, who says, “The garden of the world has no limits, except in your mind.” Thus I can say that writing has pushed me to think beyond my preconceived boundaries and allowed me to explore the infinite possibilities of the human experience.
