First Meeting
It was an ordinary weekday, my room was lit bright with the sunlight and the day was beaming towards the noon, I was working on my laptop when my intercom rang, and my office receptionist stated that Mr. So & So from M/S XYZ have come to meet you. I knew the person so I asked the receptionist to let them to my cabin. As he entered, one person more entered with him.
My eyes brightened and gazed at the other person, though I was shaking hands with Mr. So & So. The personality with athletic frame moved with a confidence that spoke volumes about his self-assuredness. Strong, angular features were softened by a pair of deep-set, expressive eyes that seemed to capture and hold the gaze as he met me.
He had a fascinating aura that drew others in and radiated a natural charisma. His voice was deep and rich, with a hint of authority that caused my heart to race when he finally spoke. My gaze kept returning to him even though I was trying to concentrate on the agenda for the meeting. His movements were deliberate and fluid, radiating strength and grace in equal measure. His smiles were like a light being turned on; they took his good looks and made them into something truly amazing. I could not help but be mesmerised by the adorable way the corners of his eyes crinkled.
I couldn’t help but be impressed by his intelligence and the ease with which he navigated the conversations as the meeting went on. In addition to being attractive, he was also perceptive, well-spoken, and really interesting. I wondered what it would be like to know him outside of the office because the combination was so enticing.
Even after decades of knowing him, I It still feels as if the hitch to ask the number is still alive, that dire feeling to know him is still unfulfilled, the exhilarating thought to be on his side still gives me goosebumps….
