Comfort Zone & Relationships

We are the Villain of our own life’s

“A ship in harbor is safe, but that is not what ships are built for.” John A. Shedd

I would define it as a familiar space which is predictable, safe , risk-free, avoiding change. The phenomenon can be attributed to various factors, including societal expectations, family involvement, economic considerations, and religious beliefs.

I think that except Gen-Z almost all of us are brought up without understanding and knowing on the following:

  1. How to have a Conflict Resolutions & Clear Communication ?
  2. Not to get impacted by Community Pressures
  3. How to question the old religious belief system ?
  4. How to handle gender inequality & patriarchy?
  5. How to enjoy freedom & autonomy ?

I see so many couples around me struggling, for the basics in a relationship causing them feel unheard, unwanted , helpless, unloved, stressed and in sever mental agony etc. When I try to understand the root cause, most of the times the unhappiness that surrounds them is coming from the comfort zone imbedded in them.

So, if we really want our relationships to work – STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
